  • Useful App

I have improved my skills in Turkish language during 10 days Teşekkür ederim DUO
  • Neat but Bugs in latest version

    By SZeto
I like this app since I can learn a little bit whenever there's some time. Not sure if this is a bug or not but sound is missing after the latest update in the “Tap the Pairs” lessons for both Japanese and Korean.
  • I'm not glad about the health thing

    By 10000000'pppk
Ok so it's nice but you have health which makes it so you can't do it as long as you want you have 5 health and every time you get a answer wrong you loose one
  • Interesting, BUT

    By AllyTheWalrus
The app is really cool! It’s very easy to use, and I am pretty entertained by it. However, sometimes when you are asked to translate something, the app will not register what was typed in. For example, I have translated a phrase in Spanish, and gotten the answer wrong. When the app says the right answer, it is exactly what I just typed in. No matter how many times I write the correct answer, it says I’m wrong. The app would be really fabulous if this bug was fixed. Please look into that!!
  • Recommend Over Rosetta Stone

    By J_Becker
So this is going to be kind of a long review but it’s unbiased so read on if you would like. I really wanted to learn German because my dad took German in High School so I decided to purchase Rosetta Stone. Immediately I could tell that I wasn’t making very much progress even though I was putting in a considerable amount of effort. Now I’m an auditory learner primarily, but can work with visual and tactile, but this was strictly visual. There was barely any audio or response based questions. I want to say right now that if Rosetta Stone works for you that that’s great and I recommend everyone try a variety of products to find what works for them. Rosetta Stone did nothing for me. Then my boss came around and recommended I try Duolingo. It’s completely free and (was at the time) ad-free. I tried it and haven’t looked back since. I’ve been using it for the past four years. As a matter of fact it’s what got put into advanced German the first day of High School. I’m now going to College to become a German teacher and I give Duolingo pretty much full credit because it was the first to teach me the beauty of German. Now I’m learning Korean! Wish me luck! (Danke schön Duolingo!) -Jacob
  • Constantly asking me to subscribe

    By Pat fowler
I am using other apps more and more because of the constant request for me to subscribe. I don't mind the ads so much but adding this new plea for money has ruined what was my favorite app
  • Amazing

I already spoke Spanish but now my memorization skills are much better ! It's truly amazing

  • They need to do Croatian.

    By CA11235
I’m not sure why they’ve been ignoring my emails to do a Croatian course. 😂
  • Since the latest update

I am not able to see how proficient I am on each language on the iPhone app.
