Stress Check is the most innovative tool available to quantify and manage your emotional and physical stress level. We use the same proven technology from Instant Heart Rate to detect your pulse and objectively measure the effects of stress on your body. FEATURES: ★ Quantify your level of stress using heart data ★ Feel better and live longer with less stress! ★ See how you react to different stressors ★ Athletes: track recovery to increase performance ★ Follow your progress over time! ★ Personalized algorithm tailors to YOUR heart ★ More accurate with every measurement! BONUS FEATURES IN PRO: ★ Never lose your data with unlimited storage! ★ Turn the phone sideways for historical graphs Everyone has experienced changes in heart rate before taking an exam, giving a public speech, or when exercising. Not only does your heart rate increase, but the amount of time between consecutive heart beats changes as well. By measuring heart rate variability (HRV) using your iPhone's built-in camera, you can estimate your level of stress in just two minutes wherever you are! Top athletes across the globe are using HRV to track their fatigue and recovery to maximize performance. Whether you're a runner, biker, swimmer, or weightlifter, Stress Check will help you optimize your workouts day after day. Stress Check utilizes a method of quantitative stress level assessment developed by Biocom Technologies, a well-known developer of various professional health assessment technologies. Our HRV algorithms follow recommendations of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology (NASPE). Let us know how you like the app! • Needs iOS 11 update

    By 'B'
I liked and used this app but with no update it is now useless - unfortunately
  • Update

Does not work with IOS 11. Time to delete?
  • Totally inaccurate

    By Fussy user
Tested myself during an extremely stressful discussion with my wife and it said my stress was "low" (probably due to my normally low pulse?) Anyway, I am certain my stress was about as high as possible yet this still reported I was great. The pulse reading might be right but the stress interpretation couldn't be further from the mark. On that level, this is junk.

Needs update for iOS 8 and iPhone 6/6+!!! Also can't click on "Later" in the TimeLine Login Screen prompt and actually get to the On-Device saved results. You gonna fix this anytime soon?!
  • Not Working

  • CRASH 😳

    By LanceBikes
Most resent version displays loading 39 updates then fails to launch and then crashes. apparently not ready for iOS 8.1.3
  • Crashes under IOS 8.1.1

    Title says it all...
  • Just get the free one

    By EvinCZ
Meh. I want to track HRV and I don't own a heart rate monitor. This looked perfect. But the timeline doesn't work. It always saves the first score I got. Should have saved a few bucks and gotten the free one.
  • Poorly executed, not backed by science

    By krisedler
First of all, the app records my heart rate / stress score, and regardless of what I score, my stress is labeled "extreme". Secondly, when it saves, it never saves the actual score that it just read. Thirdly, if I do the same test immediately upon completion, my results vary dramatically. And lastly, there is little scientific evidence showing that heart rate determines stress level.
  • Not credible

This app reports the same measurement every time, then won't let me see the history unless I dump my data on their server. No.
