The number assigned changes every few seconds. Useless. Why does it even ask you to pick one if it won’t save it?
  • Works but the pop-up ad kill it

The app works well and the texts seem to send and receive quick. I don’t mind the in screen ads but can’t stand the one that redirects into safari and destroys the experience. Needless to say there is no such thing as an Amazon.com membership rewards free gift of iPhone X, 1000 dollar amazon gc, or a Samsung S8 and it’s super annoying. Hope they fix this soon because if this isn’t resolved I will delete and keep trying one of the alternate apps.

I grow tired of the constant updates and overbearing advertisements. Data is not free. Build a quality product and leave it so. They added pop up ads - which have become overly annoying. This used to be a good app but alas it is no longer.

Can’t even finish texting when an Amazon pop up pops up saying I won like 2-3 in one text. Please fix it

This app needs A LOT of improvement. The calls are not so good, many people tell me they can hear their voices echo on the other side. Also, recently I have been having problems with just getting into the app. It keeps kicking me out of the app and when I'm texting it freezes up and kicks me out. But, overall it's a pretty good texting app considering it's free.

This is a great app. I use it on my iPod, my tablet and my computer. I do not own a phone, so this works great. But there is a cost, this app has an advertisement around every corner. They put them in line with the different chat rooms (they don’t look very different) and as banner ads. When you are not using your keyboard on the app, it displays a huge square AD there. When you are typing, a banner AD is displayed above the keyboard. I do not mind having ADs in the app, but these are put everywhere and make it look very cluttered. On the desktop version (pinger.com/textfree) there is a couple ADs to the side, by they are non intrusive. This is a great app, but there is a lot of junk to go with it.

Love app, only problem is it says it can’t connect to network yet I am on WiFi. Have tried disconnecting from WiFi, I’ve deleted the app and downloaded it again, nothing works. ☹️☹️☹️
