I’ve been using Runkeeper for years. Only a short break when I couldn’t get it to play nice with my Apple Watch. Now the “most awesome update for watch” has occurred and I’m probably going back to MapMyRun. First, I use my watch as a remote for my phone when I’m running. I can still do that but I have to start the activity from the phone!!! What kind of remote is that? How am I supposed to run when I’m concentrating on putting my phone back in my belt pack? I don’t have music on my watch so I can’t use it stand-alone. This seems mike a pretty silly “feature”. Second, I used to be able to customize the display on my watch. I like to see elapsed time, distance, current pace and average pace. Now I have no customization. I could deal with this if I had the current pace on there. Sometimes that’s how I keep consistent. Although I know some people do, I could care less about my heart rate while I’m running. Sorry folks but I think you messed this one up.

    Great app
  • Much better, but...

I've increased my rating to 4 stars. The GPS accuracy is MUCH better and finer with my Series 2 Apple Watch, but why no elevation metrics? The interface with larger font is much easier to read while running, and I love seeing my history in the watch. (It would be nice to rotate through distance, pace, and heart rate simply by tapping the middle of the screen.) My only big complaint now is split accuracy. When I calculate my average split over four miles, it is significantly lower than any of the individual split times that the app shows me. Fix that and you get 5 stars, developers! Great job so far! You can do it!

I was excited to use this app with Spotify running playlists, but I can’t even sign up. I can’t sign up with Facebook because of an error. I can’t sign up through email because I can never get past the loading screen. Help or fix please.
  • Bugs disabled it...

I used to think it was a great ap. When it was working - 5 stars. Now it freezes six seconds into my work out and you cannot see the timer move or the distance. I can’t use it at all.
  • Fine

I continue to use Runkeeper for now, though I have left the Pebble since they went belly up. It normally works okay, but it does have trouble with the Apple Watch. Today when I was checking the stats on a walk, it restarted the time, but not the distance. Wish I could walk 1:30 miles!
