    I Challenge myself weekly to do the hardest workouts to get the best results. I been using the app for a little over 30days and I can see a big difference. I take pictures weekly and workout hard 3times a week and may do 2 of the 7 minutes workout just to stay committed when I don’t have a lot of time . Thank you Jillian your workout always get me together physically even when I’m not fort ally committed .

    I’ve been really intimidated to get back into a workout routine, yet with a new baby I also don’t have tons of time. This is so perfect, no equipment needed, no getting dressed for the gym, driving to the gym etc. 30 minutes and I feel so accomplished! Just the right level of intensity. I love that Jillian is doing the workout with you, so you know what you’re doing. I hate the apps that are just a picture. This has been a great motivator.

    February 2018--On week two. I started out with a one month trial but when I saw how some exercises could be removed and replaced to allow for an old back injury, I signed up for three months. I do wish the 5 seconds I spend preparing for the next exercise could be spent looking at the position I need to be in when the 5 seconds is up. Since I'm learning all the exercises, I sometimes don't know what stance I need to be in, as Jillian's starting position is too fuzzy to see until it's time to start the exercise. Also, would be nice to move the rest day around but still have it count towards the workout tracking in the workout history. As it is now, rest day can't be swapped with another day. Also, the rest day itself won't show that you're still on track with the workout program. There will not be a checkmark in the monthly calendar, as there is on days when you've done a workout. The meal plan portion is ok...I track my meals with the Lose It app, which can be imported through the JM app. I can appreciate the variety of diet options offered. Having a vegan option is great! There is no way to correct the weight if a wrong value is entered--which makes my weight loss graph look like I gained a pound one day and lost it the next. I've been motivated and am both doing regular workouts and being more mindful of what I eat. So far so good! The 7 minute workouts are GREAT. They are how I started out with the JM app. ANYONE can do 7 minutes--even me, and I work two jobs. The 20 seconds for each exercise is manageable and the feedback at the end of each routine helps the program figure out what you need the next time you workout. If you're thinking about trying this app, give it a chance.

    I cannot compare to other apps, no need since I really love this one. I have been working out with Jillian for just over a year & have achieved amazing results. I have only been using the app for about 10 months & I love it better than the videos because you can customize your workouts to your fitness level & pick out the exercises you want to do; you have choices, there are some moves I can’t do so I can change it & I love that. It’s always changing! After all this time she still introduces me to new moves & you need that to make progress. If you don’t know how to do a move you can preview, I only wish she would show you how to modify a move, sometimes she will tell you but it’s rare. I also wish there was an option for yoga at least in the customized option. I don’t follow the meal plan but from what i have reviewed she has some really good meal options! I love that you can workout to your own jam, import your own music. It’s super affordable & worth the money. I don’t have any issues using the app, everything I want it to do it does. I also wish she would incorporate using the bands.

    I have been using the app for about two weeks now. I really love the exercises and how it is set up. I’m currently doing the Gauntlet challenge. My favorite thing is being able to preview what exercises I’ll be doing the next morning and switching out for similar exercises. I’m not focusing on weight, but I can tell you after two weeks that I fell stronger, am able to do the exercises at greater intensity and my body feels looser. Granted, my arms are always a little bit sore from all the push up variations...but it’s the kind of sore that makes you feel good about the work you’re doing :) The meal plan has great tips and overview of what you should be ratings. I LOVE that there are vegan, vegetarian and pescatarian variations!!!! However, it feels unrealistic to actually eat the meals suggested in the order suggested- mainly because there are SO many ingredients. I’d need a larger bank account and personal shopper. I wanted it for the workouts, so this isn’t a huge deal to me. The meals that are suggested are good inspiration! The app overall is easy to use. However, there is a BIG bug for music. It should work with iTunes and Apple Music, but when I try, ALL sound turns off, including the prompts for the exercises. The app doesn’t let you exit a workout until you have finished it, so it’s really hard to “reset” and I’ve actually only been able to connect my own music once. I’d up my review to five stars if this were fixed.
  • Efficient and motivating

    Previous athlete, started out very out of shape and overweight. The beginners’ workout has perfect movements and cycle lengths that keep you motivated. Instead of being reminded how out of shape I am by not been able to do the workout I feel empowered upon completion. The workout is challenging and appropriate. I wear a heart rate monitor to ensure I keep my HR up and am I able to adjust the exercise if it seems too easy. I look forward to my new session everyday!

    I’m new to Jillian Michaels and enjoy the price for a year of workouts. Similar to other reviewers I have the following comments for improvement: -The app doesn’t remember where I am in my program progress :( this is a must if I want to stay motivated. If I skip a day it shouldn’t forget that I’ve completed work outs 1-8 for example. -The app restarts if I go to another app (to check it my WiFi signal, etc) making the user start from the opening page of the Jillian Michaels app each time. - Soundtrack needs help!! The ‘music’ is on a short loop! Tracy Anderson lets the user choose three options: A. Coaching with music B. Coaching only (I add my own soundtrack!!) C. Music only -More coaching please. Give us more tips and alignment help. What should we be focusing on for each exercise? -One final thing, can Jillian say 10 seconds left instead of 15? It’s easier to power through the end of an exercise when you know you are on the downslope;) THANKS! Hoping the improvements can be made soon.

    After using the app for a year now, which I love, there are still a few things that could be there. You can log different meals but you don’t have that option with workouts. It would be nice to see “ log extra workout” like the Jillian dvds I do as well or a run or the treadmill and it would be also nice to be able to input “sick” when you are so you don’t feel like a looser for missing a day. I am on my sixth program right now: Transform 90 second week and it seems as though the exercises are the same almost every day maybe it’s a glitch or maybe that is how the progress goes as it is a three months program. All that being said, any problem you encounter you can submit a ticket and tech support, especially Chris Kludge, whom I usually deal with, is out of this world awesome. I couldn’t ask for a better tech support team.
  • Workouts worth every penny; app is so-so

    I have gotten fitter, lost weight, and stuck with this for almost a year. However, I have contacted tech support three times for help and had to redownload it four times. Good customer service but the app is very glitchy. I will continue to use because the workouts are varied, Jillian is supportive, love the concept. I choose to evolve with it but feel like I have to be honest about my tech frustrations with it.
