◆ We’ve reached our one-year anniversary! Thanks for your support. ◆ Fire Emblem Heroes doesn’t stand still—the game powers up in big ways, thanks to new in-game events and new options for strengthening your allies, letting you create your ultimate team of Heroes. We hope you'll try all of the modes this game has to offer. Choose your Heroes and join the fight! --------------------- Nintendo's hit strategy-RPG Fire Emblem series, which has been going strong for more than 25 years, continues its journey on smart devices. Fight battles customized for touch screens and on-the-go play. Summon characters from across the Fire Emblem universe. Develop your Heroes' skills, and take them to new heights. This is your adventure—a Fire Emblem that's like nothing you've seen before! This application is free to download and offers some optional in-app purchases. ■ An epic quest The game features an ongoing, original story where new characters and dozens upon dozens of battle-tested Heroes from across the Fire Emblem universe meet. There are over 400 story stages available as of January 2018! (This total includes all difficulty modes.) Clear these story stages and you'll earn Orbs, which are used for summoning Heroes. New story chapters are added frequently, so don't miss out! ■ Intense battles Take part in strategic turn-based battles streamlined for on-the-go play with maps that fit in the palm of your hand! You'll need to think hard about the advantages and disadvantages of each Hero's weapon...and even evaluate the map itself as you battle. Lead your army with easy touch-and-drag controls, including the ability to attack by simply swiping an ally over an enemy. New to strategic turn-based battles? Don't worry! Use the Auto-Battle option to have your characters fight on their own. ■ Strengthen your favorite Heroes There are many ways to strengthen your allies: leveling, skills, weapons, equipable items, and more. Take your characters to greater and greater heights as you battle for victory. ■ Replayable modes In addition to the main story, there are many other modes where you can strengthen your allies, compete against other players, and more. ■ Original characters meet legendary Heroes The game features numerous Hero characters from the Fire Emblem series and brand-new characters created by artists Yusuke Kozaki and Shigeki Maeshima. Some Heroes will fight at your side as allies, while others may stand in your way as fierce enemies to be defeated and added to your army. * Internet connectivity required to play. This game is actual RNG based garbage. The pools for summoning characters have gotten so bloated that you are extremely unlikely to get someone you actually want. Which doesn't matter anyways. Many characters in this game are effectively outclassed by whichever characters come out the month after they come out. Making any Orbs or money you've spent worthless. The worst part is that you NEED whichever characters come out when they do. As the competitive area of this game is almost impossible to deal with without them. The game gives you some units for free, but it neglects to tell you that most of these free units are awful at worst or painfully average at best. This game really punishes those who do not have money to burn on mobile games by making many battles ridiculously hard without intensely built, top tier units that have been merged at least 10 times. This game would be saved from a one star rating due to the art and voice acting. But you will rarely get to appreciate the amazingly talented voices and artists used for this game as many characters seem near impossible to summon at this point. This game is a prime example of a pay to win game, as many people cannot go anywhere without taking a large chunk of their wallets and throwing it at this game. You could also get lucky and pull a 5 star that might be good. But luck really doesn't exist when there are so many 5 stars that will definitely ruin your chances of pulling whoever you may want. If you really want to appreciate all things Fire Emblem, just play the actual games. Fire Emblem Heroes does anything but show you how awesome this franchise truly is.

  • Favorite iOS Game Ever!

Excellent job Nintendo! Keep bringing your franchises to other platforms! Port a full game please, I'd pay $30-40 no problem for a full blown FE game.
  • Anyone who thinks any app developer isn’t out for money inherently is delusional

    By FireEmblemHeroesPlayer
It’s stupid to think developers will make you a game for free. You are delusional if you think they will not put IAPs in free apps. You have the choice whether or not you spend money or not. There is literally a disclaimer when you download the game, yet people still complain. These people are truly stupid. I’ve only been playing for a few months, but it’s a good game. It’s undeniable that the summoning mechanic is gambling, but so is 99% of said loot boxes in many other games. The summoning rates are actually relatively high. If there was a 3% chance to find a shiny in Pokemon I’d have more than 2 or 3 of them in my decades of playing Pokemon. I haven’t spent any money so far, but I tend to get a 5* unit with good IVs about once every 2-3 summoning sessions (from about 50 to 60 orbs). Love Abounds has been nice to me, with 3 good IV 5*Focus units, 1 bad IV 5*Focus unit, and 3 good IV 5* units for only 150 orbs (about 20 orbs each). Don’t download if you have a gambling addiction or don’t understand why Nintendo makes games.

I definitely enjoy this little pocket emblem. Having all your favorite characters converge is really fun and you never run out of quests to fulfill. That being said, I wish there was a trade function so that friends could swap allies to make a better team! Sometimes I summon so many of the same character I get sick of them!
  • Issue of 5 star characters

I am very sick and tired of getting 3-4 star characters. It makes me very mad 😡
  • A great game to play even if you barely know the series

    By CJM1109
This game introduces characters from every game pretty much, and allows oh to decide who to use. Updates are constantly pumped out, and new units appear every 2 weeks. This game is very free to play friendly and never really pressures you to buy anything in game, as the only thing you can really buy is orbs and the 3.99 pack for beginners that honestly isn’t worth it but I digress its an option. The only problem I can really have with this game is the saturation of the summoning pool. If you summon for a hero and try to aim for a certain 5Star exclusive unit but instead get a 5 star you either already have or won’t get use out of you start to feel annoyed to an extent, but honestly it isn’t much of a problem for me. I started playing with basic knowledge of the series having played only the Fates games and some parts of the Sacred Stones. I have been introduced to many amazing characters from different games and I am glad I got this game. I recommend it to people who even haven’t ever heard of Fire Emblem.
