Earlier this year it worked well. Lately, though, it's been so exasperating that I have canceled my subscription. The issues are as many other reviewers here describe. At least several times weekly I receive a notification that the blacklist is a day old and needs updating. This is even after launching the app so that it's running in the background. What's worse is that it doesn't block calls from spoofed numbers similar to my own, which constitute the bulk of the spam calls I receive. If the app can identify them as robocalls, it should be able to block them. Give us the option to block all calls with the same interchange and allow us to whitelist specific numbers.
  • Never shows up in the settings to enable

Trying to set up the app but Nomorobo never pops in the Block and Identification section under Settings-->Phone to enable it.

Never stopped a single call. Finally stopped excepting my reports of actual robocalls. Only success of app was charging & collecting monthly subscription fee.

I'm elderly and I saw the word "Free" by the App for Nomorobo. No, I didn't read the fine print- me bad, but was shocked when I was charged $1.99 and would be every month. I had told many of my also elderly neighbors about it and have told them it was free. We can't afford $1.99 a month. I feel I might have gotten several of them in a pickle now. Ugh!

Most of the failures are really the result of Apple having just added support for call blocking apps on iOS. Give it time and it will improve - keeps getting better and better!
  • Keeps not refreshing

Since iOS 11 betas and still with final release, it’s always beeping at me about needing to be refreshed. It’s the one app I always keep running. I’d wish it would just refresh on its own.
  • Love it

I get so few robo calls now. When one sneaks in, I report it immediately.
  • Works, mostly

The only robo calls I get now are the ones that have the same first three digits -- the YYY in XXX.YYY.ZZZZ. All other calls have vanished. Hooray.
  • Has to be reset every day

Forgets that it has call blocking privileges. I have to re-allow it every day. Tried deleting and reinstalling the app. No change. Broken.
