Life Cycle - Track your time automatically From the team that brought you Sleep Cycle, comes a new app that helps you automatically track your day. Life Cycle automatically keeps track of your time and presents your life sorted into slices. It shows you your daily activities, places you go, and who you spend time with. Whether you’re just curious of how your time is spent or looking to make a change, Life Cycle is your daily companion, providing you with all the information and insights you need. What’s more - it uses only 1% of your phone’s battery while it seamlessly does the work. MAIN FEATURES FREE * Automatic - Life Cycle works in the background, recording and sorting what you do as you go about your daily business. * Less than 1% of your battery per day - Life Cycle uses less than 1% of your battery per day as it runs in the background. * From a day to a year - view your life day by day, week by week, month by month or even year by year. * Fully integrated with Apple Health. Imports Steps and Sleep Analysis data. * Friends - Connect with your friends on Facebook and see who you’re spending time with, what you’re doing and where. * Sleep Cycle connection - For accurate sleep data, connect with Sleep Cycle alarm clock through Apple Health. (Life Cycle only reads data from Health, it does not share any data. It reads Sleep Analysis and Steps data.) PREMIUM * Connect to your Sleep Cycle account - If you have an online backup account with Sleep Cycle, Life Cycle will let you know how your daily habits affect your sleep quality score. * Backup - Keep your data safe with our backup system. Never worry about losing your Life Cycle logs again. * Graphs - Beyond the donuts, Life Cycle also shows you in detailed graphs for deeper analysis, what you’re doing with your time. Just by looking at the visuals, you’ll gain insights on if you're doing what's really important to you. * Compare trends - see if you’re dropping in sleep hours, if you’re working too much or if you’ve taken longer walks this week. Compare trends over the weeks, months or years. BATTERY CONSUMPTION Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Life Cycle does not use the GPS in the background, but instead relies on cell tower and Wi-Fi locations. As a result, it consumes less than 1% of your battery per day, when the app runs in the background. REQUIREMENTS * Life Cycle needs to run in the background to be able to record your data. It only uses 1% of your battery per day when doing so. * You need to carry your phone with you, for Life Cycle to accurately record and interpret your activities. * Wi-Fi should be enabled on your phone for tracking to work. The optional Premium subscription costs $9.99 per year. Should you choose to subscribe to Life Cycle Premium, the purchase will be charged to your iTunes account. You can manage or cancel your auto-renewable subscription by entering the user settings in iTunes after the purchase. The subscription will be auto-renewed 24 hours before the subscription period ends, with the same kind of subscription you already bought, to the same price. It's not possible to abort the subscription during the time it's active. Terms of service: Privacy policy:

  • Underwhelming

It's neat to have a graphical way of seeing how you spend your time each day. But the novelty wears off after about a week and the subscription fee isn't really worth it.
  • Indispensable

I've used Life Cycle for over a year. It is the one app I never close. I rank it as one of my top apps, that I consider a "must have". The automatic accumulation and trending of data is fascinating. I think I would buy an iPhone just to have Life Cycle.

  • Fantastic!!

This is by far one of THE BEST apps ever invented! I love the design of the app, it's so simple, easy to look at and so easy to edit things! I love not having to enter things on my own, it just does it automatically! All I have to do is check back whenever I want and it already did everything for me! I also love how I can view it based on monthly, weekly, etc. Tips: - allow us to view weekly, monthly and yearly view WITHOUT having it be done, allow us to see it while we are in the same week, month, year. - have the donut show categories inside activities. For example, in the “at school” section have different sections to show what building we were in. In the home section have different sections inside the overall home section to show when we were sleeping or doing homework, etc. For people who are complaining that the app tracks locations and not activities, use an app called “Tide” it links with your apple health app and since this app now officially links with apple health app whatever timer you set in Tide will be put in Life Cycle. You just have to label it differently every time. Tide is an app for focusing on doing homework but you can set timers for other things and then when you see it in the Life Cycle app change the name from Mindfulness to whatever you were doing.
  • Awesome App

A Great app with a ton of customizable activities to track your day to day life. While It may cost money to sync to sleep cycle it still has a great purpose without the sleep tracking. I’d love an ipad version however that syncs via iCloud
  • Can't Export Data--great otherwise

    By D-weeb
    1. Want to backup your data? Pay for it. Which is fair. BUT it's only on their server. Not iCloud etc 2. Want to export your data? Nope. 3. Just because you pay to back up your data, doesn't mean you can view your data in any form outside the apps interface. 4. This is for people interested in learning from their own data. Thus remember, IF THIS SPECIFIC APP GOES AWAY, SO DOES ALL OF YOUR DATA.
  • I'm in love with this app and I don't know why.

I don't know why I love this app or even why I need what it does. It just feels good to know what I'm up to.
